Natural Language Processing and Digital Humanities: Confluences fostered by Artificial Intelligence

Jackson de Sousa is a Professor of Linguistics at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), Brazil. His research focuses on natural language processing, with particular attention to the semantic challenges that present significant difficulty for computational description. UFBA also hosts the Digital Humanities Laboratory (LABHDUFBA), active in the integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the humanities.
